Pioneer Europe launches two new headphones, designed to generate realistic surround sounding audio that immerses home cinema enthusiasts into their entertainment sound. Whether they are used to watch a DVD or Blu-ray Disc, listen to a CD, or music and movies from the internet, the SE-M531 and SE-M521 headphones bring every sound to life with life-like detail. Their self-adjusting headband and soft ear pads ensure comfortable, long listening sessions. Both models feature generously-sized 40mm driver units that accurately reproduce low frequencies and deliver dynamic, deep and powerful bass sound. With “Powerful Bass Duct” which is a ported bass duct design, the user will be able to enjoy stronger, richer bass sound. The secret is that small, strategically placed hole on the side that allows the driver to breathe. In addition, the SE-M531 headphone incorporates strong rare earth magnets and a CCAW (Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire) voice coil, which enables this model to deliver deeper bass and crystal clear wideband sound.
The fully enclosed design and snug-fit ear pads of the new Pioneer headphones effectively isolate against ambient noise and prevent sound leakage, enabling users to enjoy music or movies to the fullest without disturbing other household members.
Thanks to a comfortable free-adjusting headband system, which automatically adjusts the length of headband to the user’s head, a perfect, secure fit is guaranteed at all times. Adding to the comfort are soft velour-type ear pads on the SE-M531 and leather-type ear pads on the SE-M521.
A 3.5m long single-sided cord stays tangle-free and allows for easy TV watching or music listening from a distance. Accessories include a φ6.3 mm gold-plated stereo standard plug adapter.
The Pioneer SE-M531 and SE-M521 headphones are available from March 2014.
