More Super AMOLED Tablets is Expected from Samsung During 2014

Samsung is expecting to ship over 100 million tablets in 2014, and the company will apparently release more tablets which features Super AMOLED displays. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a Super AMOLED display, and Samsung is expected to launch a new 8 inch Super AMOLED tablet and a new 10 inch Super AMOLED tablet next year. Samsung will continue to use LCD panels in its lower end devices, so these new Samsung Super AMOLED tablets will be aimed at the high end market. No information on what other features and specifications will be included in these new Samsung tablets, although considering they will be aimed at the higher end of the tablet market. Samsung is expected to show off their new Super AMOLED tablet early next year, we could possibly see them at CES in January or Mobile World Congress 2014 in February.

Samsung Galaxy J that has been launched in Japan several months ago is now expected to land in Taiwan on December 9. Samsung Galaxy J, a smartphone that packs features borrowed from both Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3, finally appears set to make an appearance on shelves outside Japan, as the press invites Samsung sent for the aforementioned event unveil. Galaxy J features a 5-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display capable of delivering a 1080p resolution, while being powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor, paired with 3GB of RAM.  The smartphone also features a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with support for full HD video recording, along with front camera for video calling. Furthermore, it comes with 32GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot inside, and is powered by a 2600mAh battery. The smartphone runs under Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system right from the start. All in all, the Galaxy J packs the hardware internals that Galaxy Note 3 landed on shelves with, but in a Galaxy S4 size, and without the S Pen.

Provided that the smartphone is indeed set to make an official appearance in Taiwan next week. However, there’s no official confirmation on this available as of now, but stay tuned for more on the matter.

Bell and Virgin Mobile have launched Aurora Red colored Samsung Galaxy S4. This festive colour joins the Black Mist and White Frost models that have been available since the flagship Android was released back in May. The specs are the same, just a new coating, and comes with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display (1920×1080 resolution, 441ppi), 1.9Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP back camera / 2MP front camera, 2600mAh removable battery and runs Android OS 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 superphone features a beautiful 5″ Adapt Display Screen with Full HD that automatically adjusts brightness and contrast to display videos and images at their best and brightest. With its Multi-Window feature, you can now run two different apps on the same screen, at the same time. Verizon Droid Mini and Droid Ultra in white are up for sale on Verizon’s website for the same $49.99 and $99.99 respectively with a two-year contract. Purchasing the Droid Mini without a contract would cost $399.99 while the Droid Ultra comes with a $449.99 price tag. Both Droids feature a similar set of specifications as the black model, which was released earlier this year. Motorola Droid Mini packs a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Other features include a 10MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2,000 mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

Motorola Droid Ultra comes with a bigger 5-inch Super AMOLED display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and the same 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor, 16GB storage, 2GB RAM, 2,130 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Motorola has also updated its software update page and mentioned that the duo will get the taste of Android 4.4 KitKat in the coming months.
